The Edge’s good looks and sharp lines have made it a favorite for years among paddlers with smaller heads. Now enlarged it fits even XL head sizes. The Edge has been redesigned to offer full coverage with an over the ear cut. The new Edge combines great protection and the free feeling of wearing no helmet at all.

Our new RevoTECH™ Head Protection System has four components that make it the safest head protection available in the market today.

The Shell: Our nPact™ NANOcomposite Shells are made with high performance NANOtechnology additives and composite polymers using state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques. Superior weight to protection ratio is realized through the use of NANO particles that strengthens and toughens the helmet shell. Our advanced quality control and testing processes assure a consistently high quality product.
The Liner: Peak Response™ Multi-Impact Liner is a complex multi-density foam liner that is proprietary to the Grateful Heads™ brand. It is truly unlike any in the Sporting Goods market. This is a true multiple impact liner. Each helmet comes with an affixed liner that can be sized down using the provided foam shims.
The Strapping System: Our cutting edge strapping system is resigned for easy on-the-fly adjustments. The Softlok™ Durable Neck Pad provides the best placement retention possible as well as affording the most comfort ever achieved in a helmet. The Softlok™ Durable Neck Pad grips the back of the neck under occipital lobe and cinches into place with tough webbing.
And as always, we use Stainless Steel rivets to hold it all together. So you don’t have to worry about rusty rivets!
The State-of-the-Art Fit System: RevoTECH Fit System™ provides a superior “Out of the Box” fit accomplished through three different shell sizes in combination with shims. This system is based on our carefully calculated head shape design formulas. This allows for a standardized fit system from model to model, unmatched comfort, and the most user safety and overall protection possible.
